PURe Technology

Technology for PU Recycling
we make sure that the chemistry is right.

the application of existing but unconventional technologies and their further development to optimize and automate the manufacturing processes is our mission. anace GmbH offers the necessary engineering Know-How specifically for the handling of polyurethane raw materials as well as PU-Recycling.
Many years of experience and our know-how of raw materials production and formulations necessary for the polyurethane production are the foundation for our work. Starting with the equipment and process design right through to the manufacturing and user training.

Our goal is to be a reliable technology and equipment supplier for the PU industry and your best partner for R&D, process optimization and recycling.

Polyol production & PUR recycling

PUR Basics

The special feature of this type of plastic is that, in contrast to thermoplastics, it remains dimensionally stable when the temperature rises and thus can not be deformed. In the production of polyurethane products, the polymer-producing polymer reaction takes place in a form designed for it, which at the same time determines the product shape and properties.

Recycling methods

There are three basic ways to recycle polyurethane foam, where only a chemical process can produce a product that can be traced back to the original application without sacrificing quality. Below we present the most important recycling methods:

Chemical PUR recycling

The chemical recycling of polyurethane is to break the long polymer molecule into shorter segments by a chemical reaction and attach to each of them reactive hydroxyl OH groups. This creates a special type of polyol that can be incorporated into a new polymer chain.

PET-Polyester-polyolanlagen

Reusing precious raw materials such as PET gives companies the opportunity to fully exploit the financial investment made in these plastics.
The synthesis of polyester polyols for the production of polyurethane plastics is very widespread and the process is numerous described in the literature. It offers a great advantage over the process used to make polyether polyols.
